Another update on the situation

Okay so as you know the past few days we have been hammered by heavy rain, gale force winds and tornadoes. The river is peaking higher than what everyone expected. It's currently peaking at 9m. The main shopping centre is nearly fully under, state schools are being closed until further notice. It's not looking the best for sure...

To all my friends, family and people who are concerned about me, I'm safe from flood waters where I am.

I can say that even though we are a strong community, it is going to be a very long time to get back on track and running again. It's going to put so much pressure on everyone, emotions will be running wild. All we can say is thank you so much to everyone out there that has sent their wishes to us and supported us even in the darkest hours during this disaster.
